Some tips for any photographer
I have been reading photo books lately.
In particular, I have been reading the 3 book set
by Scott Kelby, "The Digital Photography Book".
The following comes mostly from him, but also other
sources.
- Simplify - have one clear subject.
- Get in close.
- Use a tripod, always.
- Sharpness is always a prime goal.
- Delete bad shots in the field.
- Only show other people your best work.
- Shoot each photo as if it is the last shot on
your card, an image that will be printed on a magazine
cover or in a calendar. Don't just click away.
- Look for great light, then look for a subject.
