TS100 Soldering iron

These are well thought of, so I bought one on AliExpress. It needs a 20 volt supply (most people use an old laptop brick) that will give it 3 amps or so, but it will run on as little as 12 volts. I just takes longer to heat up with lower voltages.

Folks also power them from a 4 pack of LiPo batteries for use in the field. You can buy a cable with an XT60 connector for use with common RC batteries.

Whatever you use, you will need a 5525 barrel connector to fit into the iron.
